The Foreign service group as a generality sucks. Anyone who has been overseas and asks for any kind of help can attest to that. (Of course there are exceptions.)

He kept regurgitating US Immigration policy and I basically said "so what" now what can you do. He also kept stating that he was in no position to authorize flight or entrance of orphans. I told him that I felt it was his job to do whatever possible to clear those hurdles for Tony and that we would all be watching to see how effective he is. It's called United States immigration law, folks. The Congressmen you are turning to for help voted for these laws and appointed foreign service officers to enforce them. Now you are screaming because a US diplomat won't ignore all the laws and arbitrarily decide to let Anthony do whatever he likes. Talk about shooting the messenger. No one - not even the president - can force a consular officer to issue a visa he/she believes is illegal. I hope y'all enjoy your little campaign here. But you would accomplish a lot more treating foreign service officers like professionals instead of ogres. Yes, I am a foreign service officer. Decide for yourself if I am one of Richard's "exceptions". But I know more than the rest of you put together how the system works, and how it can be made to work.

I am ok..and with the best of human kind here..I cant even understand what they do sometyimes ,..and they make me feel like the luckiest man alive..so I stay and I wait and I help..in any way I can.. The TVERA Interview airs tonight .It took a very long time to add subtitles because they wanted everyone in Macedonia to watch it and understand ..I am hoping that the 30 minutres I gave falls on some receptive ears ..ihope Mr walsh is watching.tonight at 9:30..BTW isnt tyhe re-airing of my Justioce Files show on tonight??.. How incredibly Ironic.
