This just in.............. Amazon.com has announced it's intention to purchase the United States of America. Talks at the new Amazon Distribution Hub(formerly the White House) took place yesterday. Terms were not immediately disclosed but it is believed that the all stock deal includes tax breaks for all U.S. citizens in the form of discounts on books, CD's and drugs. Bill Clinton will be replaced as President by Jeff Bezos as the new Commander in Chief but will stay on in an employee relations position. Alan Greenspan was quoted as saying "the deal makes sense for the people of the United States of Amer..er Amazon!" Other terms of the deal will see Socks and Buddy become inventory for Pets.com.
