"In this case Armstrong's move chases UMG away and puts their entire cable strategy at risk."

How do you figure this move chases UMG away. It looks like they want to come closer. NO? Also how does this put their cable strategy at risk. I agree with you that they should tone down a little bit because they are becoming like a msft. But bottom line is since msft has been under fire by congress their stock has doubled. T's stock hasn't moved like msft and maybe its time has come.

Well the one thing the journalists said over and over....T was "betting the farm!"

>>>Perhaps, T had no choice since the Comcast situation was so pivotal as
evidenced by their complete reluctance to say anything and the complete
failure of the news media to pursue the issue. <<<

***OT***
as for >>>only interested in attacking me<<<

Ahhaha...it is not so much what you say, but how you say it. I know you most certainly are not here to win a popularity contest (LOL)and I for one don't want the truth sugar coated....but people really don't enjoy having their views belittled in public no matter how misguided they are. I, for one don't care, lively debate only enriches the experience for me....but then, I come from a combative culture.
