Mary, Thanks for brokerage problem response. I would PM you if I knew how to do that. A little software clumsy. I want to hear about it and discuss the seeking of damages. I thought it usually went first to arbitration.

Brokerage nightmare! repost. Lost during the fray, my plea for help. Broker (Pershing, a div. of DLJ) drags feet on my request to transfer stock to my on-line account. Needed better access for trading.

To make a long story short, though everything was good to go on March 1, they have yet to respond to repeated requests and demands.

Called NASD today, who are now calling them. The question: is there an opportunity in arbitration to make them pay damages? Anyone with experience or knowledge in this area?
