Actually 3COM is the same same boat floating along on the bottom.
I think the problem is with the recent increase in Cable access from
@Home, it has cut into modem sales. ZOOM does not have a Cable modem ready nor an ADSL modem which is just starting to get off the starting
line. Both Cable and ADSL will cut further into analog modem sales.
Thus ZOOMs life is depending on releasing the next generation cable/adsl products. ZOOM did buy Hayes ADSL Lab.

You're right CR, and Zoom can blame their price drop from $12 per share on them.
