jaime choy: You are right in that the market will always give a clue before a drastic trend change. An experienced trader should be able do detect that in time to get out with a small loss.

Well you be sure and give us all a heads up and let us all know when "the" top is in. Seems that should be such a simple task for you.

I honestly believe there is enough experience on this thread to call the next correction. And I do believe that a pre-emptive warning will be called in advance by this thread. I just hope I am on the right side of it when it happens. <gg>

what clues would you look for to indicate that the market was about to undergo a drastic trend change?

or more specifically, that a sell off would only amount to a pullback,
as opposed to a change in trend? (or vice versa)
