To Lola and Cameron....

Thank you very much for the extensive information you provided about the Greenline situation. I was concerned about the situation, not because I am margined, but because I've heard that a lot of people got caught in the down draft and lost their money because of the Pavan downgrade and was wondering if they had any legal recourse. Since I do not live in Canada, I'm unfamiliar with your rules and regulations.

It seems to me that Greenline panicked by calling the margin accounts and in essence forced their clients to pay up or sell with great losses, in midstream, so to speak. I could understand if they had advised at the time of purchase or had a margin limit because of the volatile nature of internet stocks... its after the fact that I wonder about and if that is their customary procedure when a stock drops.

I appreciate all the time you have taken in your answers.

Still long and looking for a favourable week ahead...Cheers...Mac
