Russia was not strong economically during the second world war, but that didn't stop them from performing rather well and that was before Nukes, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction. Let's not forget that 19 NATO countries are allied against the Serbs and they are still having trouble bringing them to their knees in less than several months. Of course Russia will say they will not intervene, even as they prepare to do so. Meanwhile, the US is running very short of cruise missiles and guided bombs and is tied down on several fronts, all of which would probably become active if Russia intervened. Stopping Russian tankers is an Act of War against Russia. John PS - I am not a fan of the Russians ... Just trying to see through all the propaganda.
