It seem PNLK is concerned about their investors. They most definitely are. On Friday I exchanged about 3 emails with Glenn Zagoren. Showed them to my husband...you know, the ever doubting CPA....even he was impressed that the Chairman would take the time to personally answer his mail. You don't see that too often. Another great thing about PNL is that you don't even have to have a computer or internet connection to get the trade leads. That is an extra bonus...there are, after all, still some companies living in the dark ages who are internetless. This brings in an even wider customer base. I do have a nagging question though. It may be naive of me to ask...but I just can't get it out of my mind.....so I'm asking. As of Friday, PNL signed up over 1000 members on the 60 day trial basis. This figure is much higher than they anticipated. That is a tremendous amount of members in one week. Now, lets say that XYZ company is on a trial basis and is looking for widgets or whatever. XYZ enters the data base and finds 10 suppliers who meet the price/delivery/customs/etc. requirements. They get the contacts from the data base for free. XYZ doesn't really need to sign up now does it? They have received the information they were looking for. They deal with the 10 companies directly. My nagging questions is....does PNL have a system in place that would prevent "getting freebies" from the database and then leaving after the 60 days, no questions asked? Taking into consideration that suppliers inventory changes regularly, their prices might get higher...then yes, XYZ would sign up to find new contacts. But if the 10 companies are competitive and can deliver consistently.....why would they? Yes, I know that PNL makes money from advertising and the number of hits to the site. But signing up paying members is the name of the game here. They have to have a safeguard to prevent the scenario I've just outlined. Does anyone know? Thanks, Helene
