Paul, I respect your opinion on tdfx and please note that this is only a counter viewpoint and not a personal attack on you, but I would be extremely careful about jumping on tdfx right now. The latest and best 3d graphic cards have long been a hobby of mine. Right now tdfx is king of the hill with this months release of the new vodoo3 and is clearly the market leader among those that must have the best 3d card you can get BUT this field is extremely competitve and many gamers believe that the new TNT2 card to be released next month will seriously blow voodoo3 away. I have read some preview reports which claim to support this viewpoint. The Viper 770 due out next month is a TNT2 card and while no one knows how v3 will do against tnt2, I would wait to see before I jump in there. I use a Voodoo2 card myself but may will move to TNT2 if the card is as good as some who have previewed it claim. My point, my friend, is do as you will but I advise caution on tdfx at this time. Again, my comments are only intended to possibly prevent a mistep by you or some of the other fine people on this tread. I have been reading this tread for awhile now as a lurker, and just finally broke down and paid the fee to join up so I could communciate directly to everyone. Tdfx may be a big winner for you, but I might wait to see what impact next months arrival of TNT2 has on the stock price.

Hello Paul nice to meet you.

Yes it is sad about the kids.

Don't know why you hate Anthony but I'm sure you have your reasons.

Stock wise, I'm still learning. Decided that the market is a continuous learning experience. I'm very glad though that I did stumble across a few IMO "good guys" to learn from including Tim Luke. Doing that combined with lots of reading and DD have sure turned my portfolio around.
