Tench,

Re: President

I think that folks in this country should view the prez as a hired gun to manage the country's business.

They can and should be able to do anything they want in their private lives behind closed doors.

Too many people build up the president as a hallowed figure, "leading" the nation etc.

This is simply Baloney - these guys are just regular folks and mostly dishonest scumbags(it's pretty impossible to be an honest, decent politician) IMHO.

Jimmy Carter was probablty the most decent, honest, god fearing, moral, and intelligent President we have had in the last 30 years.

He was also the most ineffective in the last 30 years.

JMHO,

Regards,

Kash J.

>What he does outside of work is his own business.<

So now you are telling the President what hours he is working and what hours he isn't. Your arrogance is astounding. What if he chooses to watch a football game in the oval office on Monday night. Is he working? What if it's an afternoon game? Do you begin to see the absurdity of your position? You can't say it's a 24/7 job and then say he is "outside of work" at some point. Maybe you should send a proposed schedule to him and allow him some time to play a round of golf on the weekend sometime. I am sure he would appreciate your thoughtfulness.
