Paul,

Re: "Compaq has been using the slower 450, 500 & 525 MHZ Alpha 21264's in their
$20,000 to $100,000 servers."

Paul, Who in their "right mind" would purchase an Alpha given that there
isn't a roadmap to the future ?? Speaking of "right mind", have you heard
from Fuchi recently ?? <ggg>

Make it So,
Yousef

Paul,

Considering that Alpha's are currently shipping in a 0.35u process, you might want to reconsider some of your cocky comments about clock speed.

What MHz will a 0.18u 21264 run at?

Paul, Re: They have been stockpiling the 600 MHz Alpha's so they can put them in these low cost <$1000 Linux boxes.

Now I finally realize why there is no 600Mhz 21264. Talking about
Alpha, is Intel still making them ?
