Scumbria,

Re: " ... cancer rates have gone through the roof. Something is clearly
wrong with the American diet."

Scumbria, Do you know of any data that shows that "vegetarians" have either
longer life spans or have lower cancer rates ??

Make It So,

RE:"blue whales are also vegetarians. Where did
the theory that vegetarians lack protein come from? Given that the worlds largest and
strongest animals do not eat meat, there appears to be a credibility issue."

Scumbria, you are way out of your field.
You eat what you are. If you are an evolutionary herbivore you have different evolutionary requirements than and omnivore or carnivore.
Man is an omnivore.
I don't believe, baleen whales are necessarily herbivores. Toothed whales are carnivores.
Kind of silly that you come up with "the strongest animals do not eat meat".

Jim

Scumbria, re: "Do you know who provides those charts for the schools? The American Dairy Council." Are they the same people who got the officials in charge of the Federal subsidized lunch program to classify catsup as a vegetable?
