Michael,

It was Mike Davis, the old phoney baloney psychic whose predictions I used to run in this column. Hmm, if he was such a hotshot psychic, how come he didn't know the stock was going down? <g>

Psychics aren't allowed to trade based on their predictions. The SEC classifies this as illegal use of "material, non-public information." However, people calling into psychic hotlines are allowed to trade on phone tips without penalty, assuming their calls have been shown on a broadcast infomercial or as a sound-bite on a regular commercial, where the puny percentage of successful predications are guaranteed to show up.

Dave

Just wanted to get your opin on the oil service stocks.

I recently recommended BHI, SLB, and HAL to the mba investment fund, with an overweight in this sector. Even with the beginning of last weeks jump in this sector, I think there is more upside and that the price of oil will stay in the high teens (based on sell side research). My strongest recommendation was for BHI in that it appears to have the most run-up potential given the price target I generated from my cash flow valuation models.

off topic. The last time I spoke to you Ricky Williams was contending for the Hiesman.

Since then I've accepted an offer to join Enron Capital and Trade in Houston after I graduate in May.

So is Houston as bad as I hear =P ? and if not what's good (bars, clubs, etc)? It looks like I'll be on the westside, inside the loop by Memorial.
