Mike, I don't know if you are familiar with ECW (don't know if they are televised in Houston area), but I met one of their most hated/popular managers, Joel Gertner, when he was an undergraduate at Cornell University. He spent his weekends going to semipro events all over New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, announcing and managing. Paid his dues and lived and breathed wrestling. You can imagine how excited his parents were to see how their nice Jewish boy has utilized his Ivy League education.
