Sorry, but you're mistaken on the debt. Publicly held debt has been decreasing for a couple of years. Your budget clock is broken and needs to be reset. Check the Treasury site. Oh, by the way, only the Administration spends money. Congress merely appropriates with the concurrence of the President. Congress never spends any thing except the money appropriated for its own operations.
