Dale, do you see an end to the war in sight? Some sort of good surprise would drive the market up. Also strangely true that an escalation in the fighting would also be bullish.

The war and the school shooting have replaced y2k fear mongering in the news media now, so the possibility of a y2k "anticipation" panic has been greatly diminished.

Dale-You are absolutely correct. I shorted EBAY @ 91 and its now over 200 (the loss wont break me so I havent covered). My wife (we live in Silicon Valley) hears about all the internet stuff and for the first time in her life wants to buy the internet companies. What do I say? So now we own some AOL and Im having a difficult time trying not to have her buy Ecite because some of her friends work there and theyve made $. I dont see anything bringing this whole thing down and yet when I feel that way we usually are near a top. Your thread comments are appreciated. Bob
