RTev OT I just read your favorite stocks. All except MSFT are net stocks. If you don't mind me asking ,do these make up significant portion of your portfolio? You would forced to watch the market every hour or sooner holding these types of stocks if they were your main investments.

Heh. That's an artful interpertation of the events, Shea. I think you may have a future in the Microsoft PR department.

Well, I guess if I get a job offer any time soon then we'll know for certain how much impact SI comments have on MSFT personnel decisions, won't we. :-)

Seriously, I really *do* see these events as positive. I think it's always a good thing when a company is reminded not to take its talent for granted. I also believe that the fact that MSFT has the ability to veto Maffei's move in the first place is a testament to their (Maffei's) smart deal-making. And now, MSFT has an opportunity, as tech as articulated, to demonstrate their ability to respond and keep their talent, with a big public kiss on the lips to Maffei in the form of a juicy plum position of his choosing.
