X-ray, Your post reminded me that Drs. Davidson and Hensley were invited to the conference in Corfu Greece after they found out that the clinical study for Zicam had been submitted to the NEJM. The fact that they were invited to the conference is most honorable and I understand that the presentation went very well. In addition to much interest from scientists, a few universities expressed an interest in studying Zicam further. Drs. Davidson and Hensley would not have gone to Greece and subjected themselves to the scrutiny of other scientists if they were not confident in the science behind Zicam and the efficacy of the product. I'm an engineer and can assure you that I would not present a paper at a conference in front of other engineers if I thought that what I was presenting would embarrass me.
