That article was dated 4/9/99 - so maybe Microsoft started working on it THIS MONTH.

I'm sure this will be Microsoft's first OS to ship on time - maybe even AHEAD of schedule !

Now you are way out of your league.

The 64 Bit Windows 2000/Merced edition will have quite a bit of code in it that was written in Santa Clara, CA.

By a large CPU manufacturer also headquartered in that City.
