I've looked at this company for some time now - long for about 8 months. My bet then was that coms is an under valued company, especially with Palm in its hand. I bought at 26, 34, 23.5 and 20 .5. I've known about the buy out rumors for sometime and the volume spikes don't correlate to these discussions. For example Murphy, apparently, made some announcement on the 16th of April. But the volume began 4/3 through 4/8 where 110 millions shares trade hands between 22-26 share price. Another 30 million on 4/20 and 4/21 between 20 and 23. And now 36 million on Friday bringing the price to 26. This all done after a steep decline from 50. It seems to me that the action is based more on the internals of the company and the over selling of the stock. I expect this to pop too but I don't want to be long after pop that is based on unfounded buy out rumors. I am long based on my view that the company is positioning itself well in the markets they see as vital to the transport of information. So, are your numbers based on the rumor pop or that this thing has finally got it together to participate in the market like the Cisco's of the world?
