Paul, Re: SOunds like you - the leading remaining AMDroid - have a lot to fear !

I thought Jim hinted that he is back in AMD last week. Well, he
never said it straight like Scumbria though.

Paul - RE: "After convincing Mani and Cringe and Dberereres and Spurway and the other AMDroids to belly up their investments in AMD and their rising star , the desKtop 7 ?"

I made my initial AMD purchase before I signed up to SI and I never invested more $ into AMD after I signed up to SI (which was October last year). I actually plan to increase my position in AMD this week.

BTW, all your hype about the i810 means nothing because it won't come out until June, ala the K7. In Elmer's POV, the i810 would be considered vaporware.

So you can brag about Intel's cost savings then, not now because AMD-based systems still offer better cost savings. Who knows, by then the MVP4 may be the standard chipset in OEM K6-X based systems. The MVP4 also has an integrated "video card" and is available NOW!

Hey Paul, why don't you brag about this -

"AMD Expands Home Networking Product Portfolio With Industry's First HomePNA-Compliant Single-Chip Physical Layer Device"

biz.yahoo.com

Intel came out with their first product based on their HomePNA-compatible chip about 2-3 weeks ago while AMD has come out with a second, more advanced version of their's already! And with the AMD version, you can adapt it to use Intel's USB standard before Intel can use Intel's USB standard on a HomePNA device!!

Have you gotten your Intel version of the HomePNA yet?

Don't you just love waiting on Intel?!
