HI Les; Re > correlation-coefficient << Thanx but I'm not sure what it means <G> Any way I didn't do much today, but short the MDY, long the S&P 500 via VFINX , and bought back the XLE , the QQQ just flat outran me and I didn't chase her. I waited all day for them to finish squeezing the shorts on IBM so that I could short the DIA but it never happened. Maybe tomorrow , I think the Dow is a set up for a short up as soon as IBM starts down. <G> ( there is a tug of war in her bulls vs shorts ) it's a table stakes game and after the bulls rip off most of the shorts then she will sink. Who would have thought IBM would become a TuLip ? Man o man when she falls it may shake up the market some, but hell she could go to 300-400 before that happens LOL , ( i know someone who shorted at 185 and I'm glad it aint me ) Jim
