Why don't you call CMGI investor relations or shareholder communications and go to the website

It is not OUR jobs to answer your questions and not to sound too cocky...but none of us needs to sell this company to you
If you don't want it, don't buy it, just don't cry to us later

Why are you so nervous when someone ask questions?
Don't mistake surliness for nervousness. I'm not nervous in the least. My surliness in response to your "questions" lies in the fact that you continue to monopolize thread time with your inane "observations" about LPGLY and yet can't even take the time to find out the BAREST of facts about the topic stock of the thread.

Insults are not answers.I want intelligent answers to my questions. I will not insult anybody.
You want intelligent answers? Ask intelligent questions. Who the heck are you to insist that we somehow OWE you the simple due diligence that you either refuse or are incapable of performing? Your questions and posts are insulting and therefore draw an inevitable result.

But your nervousness gives me the feeling that you're looking for the exit
Wow, you've got great insight, don't you? I've been long 600 shares of CMGI since $20. Bought a few more on the dip. You haven't the foggiest notion what the hell you're talking about. But, I suppose, without people like you, we wouldn't have the phrase, "A fool and his money are soon parted," now would we?

I really want to buy this stock and I ask questions because you know the company better than me.
So shut up an buy, already. While you've been bleating on, you've missed the great buying opportunity of 1999 in the stock.

Unlike your great "find," CMGI doesn't need me or anyone else on this thread to pump and pimp it. The quality of the investment speaks for itself -- of course, only to those that extend the simplest of efforts to do BASIC DD. What's next, are you gonna ask if the stock's going to split soon?

Michel Petit -- It is not your inquisitiveness that is annoying. It is your phony innocence. You are in a snit because we have repeatedly asked you to stop touting this pump and dump project of yours on the CMGI board. Now you are asking questions that anyone who claims to be a serious student of venture capital companies should already know and, I am certain, does know. You know damned well what the NAV of CMGI holdings is because it has been a subject of considerable publicity and debate among analysts who disagree on the valuation of CMGI and other rapidly growing internet companies. And you know that NAV is only part of the equation in valuing a venture capital company, not a mutual fund. You are as capable as anyone of directing yourself to the CMGI website to inspect the list of companies it owns wholly or in part. So why don't you just give up the "I just wanna know about VC companies" act and take a powder?

Mike

I find this stock an interesting study of human nature. It's interesting how defensive, and downright ofenended people become when you try to look at the other side of the equation. I personally welcome any controversial stances on stocks I hold. If I feel the poster is full of it, I can easily dismiss their remarks. If there is some substance to their argument I welcome the information.
The conclusion I draw is that in the back of many peoples minds, on some level they realize this stocks runup is only maintained by the greater fool who steps up to buy. Rocking the boat here might reveal serious cracks around the waterline.
Last week after a fairly small drop in this stocks price(concidering the stock). I heard more stories of margin calls, and lost fortunes than I could believe!(were there people fully margined on internet stocks?) There are some underdiversified, semi blind folks following this stock. I'm sure there are some very sophisticated investors as well.. but I think they are the minority.

Good luck trying to get unemotional answers here... I'm enjoying the show!!-g-
