We have for now a new dog. A lab/pit bull cross. It was kept in a small cage and only let out to be beaten. It was stolen and now is in our kennel. I went to the kennel and was met with growls. I went in and sat down. Next thingI knew the critter was licking my face. He know has an idea of what heel means. I believe the command Heel is the most important.

Very low-key, big concern for the kids' development. I am an assistant, in a way; it's a peewee league with a higher league affiliation. I'm a teacher; the league stressed that. The other coaches I've spoken with were very much OK. One of the teams is coached by two women, neither of whom have sons on the team any more. They do it for the fun. Matt loves the game, what he knows of it. I can't be too hard on him, he's such a neat little guy, and wants so much to learn. I think I'm gonna like it.
