Thread:
Here is my 2 cents worth of speculation:
3COMS will be divided into 3 COMS.
1) RAS will be sold to Siemens.
2) NIC and Modems division sold to separate company or bestowed to Eric to continue his vision thing or INTL buys to enhance its network
foray.
3) Palm unit will be made a separate unit with Bruce Claflin
as the CEO and giving a (honorary) seat in the board to Eric.

This will naturally get rid of all Rats and Paisley.

COMS holder will get around $40 for the RAS unit and some shares
in PALM COM. Whatever the money that NIC & Modems COM will fetch will be shared by Siemens and PALM COM.

I want everybody to pray collectively to God (or whatever you believe in) for keeping Eric. B in a non-analysts bashing mode till the deal is over.

Garza -
What are you on crack!? "$100/share!!!" "Surpass Cisco!!!" You're dreaming. You should just pray that if there's a buyout it would be a gift @ 35-40/share. Coms is in a commodity business... there's no big technology development there. Have you seen the prices for a modem (data, ISDN, aDSL) or a nic lately. A palm pilot will not elevate the share price. Coms overpaid for USRX and will never see any new fruit from that tree. As to surpassing Cisco, well I dare you to mention that on the Cisco thread!!! I usually don't respond that much anymore, but your statement was so absurd that I had to say something. Do a little more research before you make a statement like that. There's a world outside your bureaucratic office in CA!
