interesting article, but one must often realise that the pen and the brain are not connected with some people. For example;

Did this numbskull ever stop to consider how much hard cash INTC has spent on designing 400MHz+ µP's and all necessary chipsets, WHICH WILL NOT WORK SATISFACTUARLY WITHOUT RDRAM. Look at the PIII for example, by all accounts in has the performance of a Porsche with a beetle engine. How will a 700MHz coppermine perform on SDRAM?

It may even be a viable alternative for INTC to subsidize the RDRAM price until it is available in 0,18 micron technology
