JR: the H&Q schedule was in this site. I don't think AAPL is scheduled to speak. This is a mistake because AAPL badly needs to improve its relationship with Wall Street.

Not only that, but they are the personal broker for a lot of bigwigs in the Apple universe. Ie, they moved Jobs' 1.5 million shares two summers ago, they did the Prince's big block buys two springs ago, etc.

I was expecting this, but maybe not until Apple got closer to spinning off its internet stuff. I expect Goldman to be lead broker on any Apple internet IPO.

Btw, Rasco--Apple wouldn't have killed Newton if it was making gobs of money. Dividing management's attention was a bit of an excuse, though truthful as well. Think of how Apple can get into corporations if it has a beachhead with the Palm.
