Thanks Marc & Eric , maybe some GS activity after 6/1/99

AAPL's analyst meeting set for 5/19/99 . Data from it last year was a iron clad secret but later four funds joined our solo Fido Fund .

The analysts will see AAPL's future (July's MW - NYC) and review WWDC which ended 5/14/99 . Timing is great .

Suspect the last of the "inside" shorts covered (15 mln shr little change day) and the remaining shorts are "caught" with AAPL over $ 44 . J Murphy just closed the lid with his $ 65 tout .

GS is having its own IPO soon and "quality client" IPO is helpful . With the 5 Funds sitting tight a AAPL run up would set the stage for a hot AAPL spin out . Filemaker is the most logical but QT is (net) topical .

I was critical of AAPL insider selling but after looking at XRX's the AAPL insiders are saints , but no iCEO stock award yet .
