Could you share with us what information you recently "gathered" that indicates a
slip in Merced samples past the 3-4 months that Dr. Barrett gave?

No. Mostly speculative. So my retort to Process Laddy
has a certain amount of risk associated with it. I do believe
that "samples in 3-4 months" won't happen. My stating tape
out in 6 months may be off the mark, but it isn't my opinion...
passing on what I found. Take it for what it is worth.

Actually.. seems to be pretty leaky over there at Satan Clara:

theregister.co.uk

One Intel engineer told us today that Merced is now unlikely to be taped out until
August at the earliest, while another hinted at problems with McKinley too.

Hey Processor Laddy... you ready to double down at 4 months
til tape out? Maybe monsieur Barrett was confused and meant
tape out in 3-4 months. I know it is rather tricky keeping all
these terms straight.
