I think there will be time, particularly for the companies that are trying to provide IP-based solutions. I just read a piece from Gartner Group this morning that confirmed that. They were commenting on Cisco's recent acquisitions (which are moving them towards voice and data convergence). They believe that ATM will continue to be the means for delivering converged networks until sometime in 2004 (their estimate). If you're looking to get back into the sector anytime soon, I would encourage you once again to try and look at TeraGlobal soon. I have the distinct feeling that something is about to break but don't know what it is yet. I think that if you take the time to look at their technology and business model you will understand why I have decided to place my bet there. Cheers!

Michael - Have you looked at TeraGlobal (TGCC)? The sector may not have taken off without you but this stock has doubled in the past two weeks. NASDAQ application filed but not yet approved, no analyst coverage, one customer announced (1.1 mill. over 3 years). Clearly people are expecting more. Look at the chart, if you like it, check out the thread at Raging Bull and check the recent press releases. I think this company is going to be big but what do I know?
