wily,

Yes and they always show strain. The LI bid/ask can be misery at the open. Signal often goes off line for minutes at a time during the first hour. I once ran Signal side by side to a Townsend RTIII feed and Signal was 5-8 seconds later on every transaction.

In fairness, I suppose that result could be affected by my local connections. However, one quote server is in Chicago and the other in California and I'm halfway in between in Denver.

I've found the perfect solution for me this year. I'm only trading between 11:30 and 3:00pm NY time.

Alan

Wily, it could be a number of things but I doubt It's NASDAQ's fault. Do you run many level 2 screens? Level 2 and T/S take up a tremendous amount of bandwidth especially at the open but this should not be happening to you on a consistent basis. Do you have a good connection to the net?

Maybe I can help you figure out the cause,
