"and collected personal information from nearly 2,000 people who believed,"
Many senior citizens and the naieve have been bilked by scams presented to them in less believable fashions than this. The 2000 names and the personal information gathered would have a marketeable value in certain circles. NO, reply the defendants. It was an April Fools joke only. Hmmmmmmmmm...........

I'm going to call Cathy Baron Tamraz (212-752-9600) in the AM and tell her what I think of Business Wire and that I'm boycotting them. When you get fooled on April Fools day, you say "that was a good one, you got me" (the American thing to do), you don't sue.
Getting fooled on April Fools day doesn't make you a fool, suing because you got fooled, does. What a bunch of cry babies.
