I think this is great news. Xnet will get chinese speaking people and many will want to learn English(through it's English learning site). These people that will learn English may eventually want to jump to AOL. But I think the Chinese are the experts in this area. Aol may want to buy xnet for it's bilingual assets. But personally I don't think the Chinese will necessarily want an aol, but have their own. Either way it's a win win situation.

Pat, I still think that AOL's or PCNTF's logical entry into the
Chinese mainland market will be thru acquisition of privately held
Chinese ISP's. (Because remember, you still need an ISP license granted by the government) Likely they would start with the major cities Beijing & Shenyang, since these have the largest # of current Internet users. They would also need to acquire a portal familiar to the Chinese user and have pricing that would be competitive. All of these things bode well for our little XNET. AOL might have to move fast if they want to pick up XNET at a bargain price, because as I have stated before, it's likely XNET could be NASDAQ listed within a few months, and all bets are off once that happens.
