At Ebay you can buy other peoples' trinkets and trash. At bid.com you can buy brand new computers, monitors, etc with full warranty. Definitely apples and oranges!

Yes, and this is the real kicker, both attract the same kinds of prices! So while Bid.Com collects below market values for its brand new, warranteed and supported products, Ebay goes blissfully along collecting listing and selling fees and not caring a whit what prices the products they sell go for.

Yes, Bid.Com has its attractions to me as a merchandise buyer. As an investor, well, that's something else again.

That "14-day, maybe" shipping policy of Bid.Com kinda bites, though.
