Ken,
I really like IQC and they have some very useful features that I have not found elsewhere. I am only hopeful they will soon get their act together.

But you are correct, you must have an alternative. I strongly recommend you look into AIQ at www.aiq.com It costs me about $80 per month (the software is only $49 one time charge) and I get real time tick by tick quotes, charts, and they have very extensive TA language for tracking indices, sectors, groups and individual stocks. There are just too many features to list, so check it out.

In addition, I use MetaStock for furthur analysis. It is a bit redundant with AIQ but I already had it. I suppose if I were to do it again, I would only get AIQ. There is also a very active user mail list at OneList.com so support and ideas are plentiful.

Hope that helps.

FWIW,
John

Until today the bugs were just an irritation, and even then the service came back up to steam around noon. And the tracker worked while the regular charts were on the blink. They said they were having trouble with their ISP. But it does have enough bugs to keep the Orkin man busy.

But it works 90% of the time and real time is only $39/month. And it loaded with lots of useful features. When I read TS 2000 users spend hours downloading historical data, I can't comprehend what they're talking about. Data on IQ charts is just one click away. The real time data has already paid for itself in better trades many times over.

And they do respond quickly to your complaints.

It is still a work in progress.

All,

Just signed on yesterday with IQC. Is clicking on the "help" button the only help I'm gonna get? No online manual, or did I just not find it yet?

I also set up my chart screen the way I wanted it (trying to match as closely as possible what I've been doing with WOW). Now, this morning when I fired up IQC, all my custom settings reverted back to the canned defaults. What do I do about this? I don't want to have to set it up each morning.

Appreciate any suggestions for a faster start. I'm only getting delayed data at the moment. If that matters to anyone.

Ken
