Big mistake. If you availed yourself of my posts on this thread and any of a half dozen others, you would already know my opinion of Bill Clinton. I know that he is the worst President to ever sit in the Oval Office. On the other hand, I don't believe that the U.S. should cut off it's nose to spite Clinton's face. We are now doing what is right in Yugoslavia, if several years too late. We are doing what is right in spite of Bubba the Walking Hard-on, not because of him. In a perfect world, Clinton would never have made it past being an ambulance chasing shyster in Little Rock, and the ethnic groups in Yugoslavia would have made their peace six hundred years ago. Since that's not to be, the best we can hope for is to save almost 2 million Kosovars from ethnic cleansing and to see Clinton in a prison cell for his abuse of power and collaboration with the Chinese. It is a scary thought that we once again have men and women in harm's way while Bubba is Commander in Chief, but to wait until he is out of office to do what should be done, would have meant waiting until the Serbs had completed their ethnic cleansing of the former Yugoslavia and turned their forces towards other targets. NATO made the right choice, both for it's own benefit and the benefit of the Kosovars. Unlike James Nicoll who just hates the U.S. because he's so jealous of us that it hurts, and chaos who's an aryan supremist who ardently supports the genocide of Muslims, you may still have some legitimate arguments against what NATO is doing to Yugoslavia. Be careful that your pissing contest with Clinton doesn't blind you to everything else.
