SDLI featured in today's, 4/27/99, IBD "The New America". SDL should do well for a number of years as its pumped laser chips will be critically needed to keep demand for trans-Atlantic communications from outstripping capacity around year 2003. Pump laser market should grow at a 71% annual rate for next five years, and then slow down. Competition from UNPH, not a problem now, could be a factor in three to five years, -- according to the article. Thanks for the CC summary, Pat. Tulvio
