Hi Gopher.
Several times now you've mentioned a map showing magnetic highs, etc. Is this a government map or private? Can poor peons like me get a copy? The trend you refer to I assume is the contact between Troilus volcanic rock and a large batholith lying to the south of Lac Rocher. Glenn Mullen discussed this contact on a post several months ago and said he had based his staking on it. He made a lot of sense and staked DNI's ground plus several others based on that contact. As you say, it runs northeast to southwest and parallel to the south shore of Lac Rocher. If there is a new map showing geophysical anomalies, I'd like to get a copy.

Another point we may be overlooking is an old nickel showing on the north shore of Lac Rocher which may now be covered by NWI's new claims. Mineman referred to this showing and said it was packsack drilled sometime ago with I think 2% ni but length and details not given. I tried to get more info on it but that was about the point he turned ugly and called the project the Nuintanic or something. Point is there appears to be a triangular area with the top at the Osisko showing and a base running along the contact you describe down to and through NWI's discovery area. Coupled with showings of peridotite according to some maps on the shore of Lac Rocher, you have to figure this is nickel country. May be hard to find but suspect there are more than a few people who recognize the potential.

Don't forget NWI are just finishing a helicopter time-domain geophysical survey. They also happen to be on site with a few bucks and diamonds drills ready to probe possibilities and a market watching and waiting for good news. This is a unique situation. Definitely not as good as a month or more ago but still an attractive bet.

If the map and overlay you refer to is publicly available, I'd like to grab a copy.

Bob
