First tell me if the Trout could answer that question how do you suppose they would respond? Would they choose life after a barbless hook is removed [BTW I have on occasion seen these "tortured" fish resume feeding within minutes after release] or death with the knowledge that they are feeding some ones fat face? Watcha think? Your implication that wild trout as food is some how noble is bullst. In most cases it's cheaper to buy farm raised fish now ain't it? << marten, mink, weasels, bobcat ->>You trying to tell me you eat** these?? If not why do you kill them? The difference between catch and release and what you practice is that when I leave the woods the environment is for the most part undamaged.When you leave it is diminished by your kill. Oh... but you pay fees [as do I ] so ....... I guess it's ok. pez
