COMS - where is this Stockcart story, do you mean Stockhouse?
I would only say that 3Com is in no hurry to sell off their company or pieces of it to anyone. They have repeatedly stated their intention to remain independent. I am not saying I agree that they can survive that way, but their goal is to not be bought out. They prefer partnerships, joint ventures, i.e. Siemens, Newbridge, Microsoft, Oracle. I would not be surprised with an upmove due to these rumors, but look at the charts and you see a high of 82, and since then lower lows and lower highs. This is headed downward longterm. Rumors are just that. They are started to get people interested (hype), look at the huge volume spike at 25-27, a lot of funds are happy to get out, from 20 a few days prior. If it breaks 28, then the rumor may be true, but I expect selling to enter as it gets near 27-28.
