I did that once.

It was a big garter snake, and it slithered into our camp/ So I picked up a big rock nd dropped it on the snakes head.It did the funky chicken and died.

My mom was mad. Said it was cruel.

So I buried it.

Years later my thearapist said I had a breakthrough.

Oh look an oreo.

Ah, but you talk about the physical world...

We are in a virtual world. Not so easy to deal with something you cann't see, feel, or touch. Sure can smell it though :-)

If you let it get to you and keep arguing it just festers in your brain because "it" loves to argue. There is, really, nothing you can do about it but continue to banter back and forth trying to "enlighten" someone that gets PAID (IMO) to do just what he does. (I am inclined to believe he has gotten some pretty good bonuses from this thread). That is what "it" counts on. (IMO)

I take personal umbrage at your use of the pronoun "his" in the post you provided which says:

"I must disagree, Michael. If you ignore a disease does it go away? If you ignore a forest fire does it go away? We have tried to ignore and it does not work.

IMO, many on this thread have been fighting the good fight for many months, and those who read "his" (emphasis mine) posts on this thread will also notice that most of the posters here have a, shall we say, "less than favorable" opinion of jhild.

You can do as you wish, of course, but when threatened by a snake the best defense is to kill the snake (figuratively speaking, of course.)"

Your use of the masculine gender cannot possibly apply to such pieces of flotsam.
