Well, I'm on the EDGE to try Stockedge. I was using the poor
mans quote system, snap-shot quotes..... So I'm trying out
PC QUOTE 6.0 basic service (no charting) for $75 bucks. The data-feed when connected at 44k is excellent, but when using that wireless modem, the poor data-transfer rates of 500 bytes - 1000 bytes
per second the lags the system a bit so I keep the stock list short.
Plus this lag seems to lock-up of the software (Real Tick III).

After 1 week of PC QUOTE, I just noticed that two stocks showed incorrect "LOW" price as much as 2 dollars wrong on XLNX and 1/2 buck on DELL. Before this, XLNX showed that the stock was up over 2 bucks in the morning when later on I realized (verified) that the stock was up only 1/4 dollar.

The bad data showed on screen for a long long time, not a data glitch.
(BOO !!)

Two hours after the market closed Friday, I randomly sampled 50 stocks
and verified with other services to see if the data was correct
and I found 5 of 50 stocks with incorrecly stated "LOW" and/or "HIGH"
prices. PC QUOTE fixed the data 1 hour later.

The funny thing about this whole mess is this. The quotes on
www.pcquote.com were correct (FREE SERVICE) but the premium service
was sending BAD DATA.. HA HA HA !!!

Now I am stuck wondering if this is a common occurance with them ???
Those quotes influenced my trading that day and lucky me, I made
some cash..

I wonder if StockEdge will run well watching 20 stocks with the limited bandwidth of the wireless modem ? 500 bytes - 1000 bytes
data rates per second ? Also, is Stockedge limited just to track
50 symbols or can you created more than 1 portfolio, each with
50 symbols max ?

StockEdge 5.0 (build 146) BUG ?

Installed SEOL in C:\SEOL folder.

When loading SEOL, you get this error message;

"Layout File C:\program files\DBC\SEOL50\seol-charting-1024x768.lay
not found"

Guess it forgot that I installed it in C:\SEOL and not the default
directory.
