nice1, kas1 ...

not to downplay NetCache -- cuz we all know it's a hot market -- but frankly, cache products 'only' represented 8% of NTAP's revenues in the third quarter (versus 5% in the prior quarter). furthermore, they 'only' shipped 100 NetCache units; however, this represented 80% growth on a sequential basis and accounted for 30 new name accounts, mostly in the Internet space. on a geographic basis, 30% of the NetCache systems shipped were in the U.S. versus less than 20% in the previous quarter.

ROTFLMAO!!! The other mistake that NTAP made is it didn't bet the farm (or hotels) on caching. That is less than 10% of its business!
