Mark,

I think you have good reasons to be skeptical of FNHC's future based on its history. It's not comforting to see that the shareholder with the most percentage of ownership is not domestic (as Sophie's Choice pointed out earlier). Wall Street likes to keep the dollar domestic, I'm sure.

My read on the recent management announcement is that the CEO has been given a blank check on decision making. The control of the company still belongs to Rawitch and his associates, but I believe they are just cruising along now. Even though we have no disclosures for the financial arrangements of the current management, it would not be surprising if they are slated for a huge bonus for their successes.

I don't think there are any Finet Mortgage branch offices in the Show Me State, but I did a little driving around this weekend, and I found - lo and behold - a branch office with Finet Mortgage sign!?!?

That's right, folks. FiNet is here to stay, be it as an E*business or as a brick & mortar business. Any of you can call FiNet and verify what I saw.

I was hoping at least one of you would have understood what I hinted on message #1053, but I guess you guys don't get out much :-)

Mark
Here is the link to a summary of the company's conference call held in Mid March. This was right after the earnings announcement.
