Thanks again. There definitely are some conflicting signs, but I do believe they will be short in duration. This gridlock should soon end (one way or the other).

Here is something else to ponder. The spread in volume between the NYSE and NASDAQ appears to be too small. It was 606 million NYSE and 651 NASDAQ. This may simply reflect a lack of buying vs. an abundance of sellers in the DOT components because that index is behaving very nicely today. No panic, just managed selling. If the volume comes back on the NAZDAQ, we may have another buying opportunity on the DOT?

Does anyone know if DOT intraday volume is available.
