If that's the spew coming forth from Boeing then they'll be shot down in flames. I've been running Netscape on Win95 A, Win95 B, and Win98 without any trouble ... also on my winNT and Linux and on my Solaris Ultra-1 2.5.1 box.

Since you've posted on this boeing topic several times I think I should share some information that was presented by one of those 'arrogant' MSFT threadsters.

I include a link here that states only that the boeing soft. eng. WANTED the browser kept separate from the OS since they preferred to use Netscape - not that they could not run Netscape. Do you feel that MSFT should be compelled to offer IE on other platforms or is there another point you are trying to make?

Mephisto - Could you point me to something that backs your claim that they could not run Netscape?

BTW- the Boeing testimony was not used by the DOJ. Why? Because when the employee was asked if there were benefits to the integration of the browser into the OS he said YES there are potential benefits.
