Karen,

Thanks for the advice about piggy-backing 120 gallon propane tanks. I was planning on a 500 gallon tank, but may go with a few 120 gal tanks instead.

I was thinking of putting a fence around my tanks - the kind that's "solid" (with no visibility) about 3/4 of the way up, and trimmed with lattice at the top. I think it's about 6' hight.

My generator will be in my pump house about 20' from my home, and the tanks will be adjacent to the pump house.

Is this fence I'm looking at allowable and safe? Is there a place on the net that gives advice on "rules" of tank placement?

Thanks,

Cheryl
