Your presumption is that a Cuban supported Marxist insurrection is likely to approve the efforts of a Gringo corporation to coopt local resistance to the revolution. It also seems to presume that those insurrectionists look to the realization of the Columbian people's best interests to gauge whether they will act in opposition to that foreign corporation's forced charitable donations. Classically, neither of these have been goals of Latin American Marxists
(or any other of the various species).

In fact, most Marxist revolutionaries have sought to worsen the lot of the masses (as they describe them) in order to create a climate of opinion supporting a revolt. Marxists have typically justified terrorist acts not as direct opposition to oppressive capitalist regimes but rather as an act that engenders that regime's repression, alienating the masses which itself then generates the resistance of the masses.

I am afraid that these revolutionaries are not likely to be impressed with HEC's philanthropic contributions.
