More from ITL site on CJ claims

In Canada's Northwest Territories, ITL Capital and Riley Resources each hold a 50% interest in the CJ Claim Group; which is currently the focus of a $4 million exploration program by Cypango Ventures. The claims are located on trend with BHP/Dia-Met's diamond discoveries.

It was on these CJ Claims that ITL Capital hit a “snag” that caused the subsequent fall of ITL Capital's share price. Exploration work on the claims had revealed concentrations of diamond indicator minerals. Targets were prioritized and drilling commenced to find kimberlite pipes, and then to ascertain the grade and extent of any kimberlite pipes intersected. Four targets would be drilled starting in late April, with a fifth to be drilled this coming winter.

Due to the location of the fifth hole which is centered in a small bay on the western shore of Lac de Charloit, the drillers would have to wait for the winter freeze. In fact, the fifth target, about 480m x 260m in size, has the best potential; indicated by the 18 airborne and ground surveys conducted, and from 869 heavy mineral till samples collected on the property to date.

On May 13, 1996 the news was released that the four targets drilled had not intersected kimberlite. ITL Capital's stock plunged $0.50 to $0.15!

Must all talk nice to each other now.
